this made me chuckle… I mean I welcome our new robot overlords.

I totally want to see this movie. its form the same guys who did “water boys”, “swing girls” and who can’t forget the awesome “Happy flight”. from what i can see from the preview this robot looks like there is a guy inside. I bet the robots at honda and toyota are pretty much the real thing. anyways it looks like fun, and it comes out very soon.

these are the newest robots being introduced to the world. the first, has some uncanny resemblance to pedobear. the rest are just some surgical and granny robots. pedobot, you need to stay out of the pediatrics ward. credit to popsci

from combinations of African, English and Dutch languages, Roila, or the robot interaction language, will be the language of our masters. Actually its pretty cool, we will soon all be able to talk to our appliances, tell them to cook for us and walk the dog. Shucks we already have the roomba, and that sucker cleans the floors.

Then one day they will turn on us, and that darned movie robots will be a reality. except they wont have a need to talk, they can transmit their thoughts wirelessly. They would only need to use Roila to speak to us. since we can’t communicate wirelessly through our brains.

some commands we will be hearing form them in the future

• “butij pimo lupuma.” Get that bottle.
• “Pito loki wikute tuji!” I like fruit.
• “Pito fosit jifi bubas” I walked to the house

It remains to be seen whether humans would embrace learning a new language just to communicate with robots, rather than making robots understand our languages.

No this is a very big claim but gotta admit the similarities are striking. i can only wonder what the internals of this new surena 2. as the surena 1 was a piece of crap. i bet it has Honda slapped all over the insides. brought to you by popsci now i didn’t read the whole article, but i’m just saying.
