Jaguar E-Type Engine

from www.automobiliac.com:

The engine bay of a Series III V-12 E-type is of Byzantine complexity. But when you lay all the parts out like this, it looks like child’s play doesn’t it? That’s because none of the crazy wiring and plumbing is present! I loved this photo, taken by Photographer Mike Dean at “The Sports Car Shop” in Eugene, OR.

I think the spiderman/bruce lee combo would have been awesome. I imagin it would go down like this “damn i’m out of spider juice? hmm… fuck that. i’ll just use my hands.”

these collections of Terry Crews doing old spice commercials are way funny. the bounce one is my favorite. Old spice is so powerful it sells itself in other peoples commercials. the first commercial was Directed by Tim and Eric from the Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! the rest maybe. i don’t know.

Geordis Visor

I’m a star trek fan. When I was younger in when in Jr. high school I used to take my older sisters hairband, and pretend it was Geordi’s visor. I never pretended it was x-ray specs… funny none-the-less. The reading Rainbow host probably never saw that coming. I love how Picard has an engage tattoo over his package. so funny.

High Speed Photography by Alan Sailer

This is some of the most beautiful high speed photography i have seen. makes that show on discovery seem like child’s play. visit Alan’s flikr set to see all of his awesome stuff.

by Alan:

Was a very, very obscure photographer working in his garage shooting stuff with a pellet rifle and photographing the results with a home built flash.

Then in early 2009, someone linked one of my pictures to a social networking site. My boss came by one day and told me my site was getting a huge number of views. Emails from magazines, newspapers and even Good Morning America started clogging my FlickrMail box.

It was very stressful.
