scratch into history

Category: images
Tags: , , ,

this is a beautiful display of scratch work, the technique known as scratchboard is taking a sharp object, and scratching away the top layer till you get to the bottom layer which is usually a black top layer on top of a white bottom layer. or vice versa. it is a time consuming practice, as well as a nerve racking one, because any mistakes you make are permanent. I have never seen scratchboard colorized so this is a nice treat. credit to behance.net and Mark Summers

i hope that {the facebook} can present this interesting

Rubick’s cube for the blind. This designer has designed the Rubick’s so anyone can use it. only caveat is you will need to learn braille. Now Blind people will also feel the pain of trying to solve this puzzle. Credit to Konstantin Datz via Behance.net
