I was looking up Traditional wedding gift ideas for my wife since our Wedding Anniversary is coming up in September. The best way for me to remember my wedding anniversary is taking the month september 9, minus the day i was married the 5th. and you get the year.
9 - 5 = 4
September 5th 2004. We were going to get married in the 4th, or a week later, but in Asian culture #4 means death, or can mean death, and the week afterwards would have been the anniversary of September 11. that was a no go.
So we have been married for almost 4 years. and we have been together since 1997 - 1998 this will be around 10 years now since I have known her. Pretty awesome eh.
I looked around on the net and compiled this list of wedding gifts and its funny because it ends at 15, does that mean marriage ends after 15 years?
I’ll let you think about that quandary.
