i just gave my cat a mineral oil enema. and geez the entire house now smells of greasy cat poop. The reason i gave him an enema was because he was constipated and couldn’t go. not a great thing for cats. My cat has stopped eating, so it has come to us spoon feeding him. i feel pretty bad for the little kitty, he has lost a lot of weight, and i fear the worse. my cat was diagnosed with sever kidney failure 5 months ago. and we have been giving him fluids intravenously weekly on wednesday . some days he is doing well, other days he looks very weak and doesn’t move much. The heat these days are not doing a great thing for him either. I have placed large frozen bottles of water around wrapped in towels hoping that he will sit near one to cool off. I think by the time we find a place to live that has central air it might be too late.
