dood i just got a new bike today. well 2 new bikes, one for Yoko and one for me. since we are getting that tax rebate of 600 dollars, to stimulate the economy, and since i had a 20% off coupon, we thought that this would be a good opportunity to get new bikes. pics coming soon, check back at this post for images. plus we got new hiking boots. since out old ones were getting haggard. what kinds? well we both got a pair of keens. keens are pretty nice. not only do they accommodate for wide feet that i have, they are real comfortable. great fit and nice altogether. I remember when keens first came out, they had only sandals, which i own 3 pairs of, 2 leather clad and 1 a weird plastic composite which i don’t wear too often, because they give me blisters. but the leather ones are nice and i would feel bad if i threw them away. These sandals were the best. i would wear them every where, hiking too, since they would give the best grip. even when i went jogging, because they we’re light weight, and they let my feet breathe. important in jogging, cause hot feet cause blisters in my opinion.
well these new boots are awesome, and i cant wait to try them out. maybe Cleveland national forest again. or Malibu canyon national forest. geez so many great trails not enough time.
